Personal care assistance (PCA) services provide assistance and support for persons with disabilities, living independently in the community. This includes the elderly and others with special health care needs. PCA services are provided in the recipient’s home or in the community when normal life activities take him/her outside the home.
On-call counseling and problem solving and/or immediate response for assistance at a person's home due to a health/personal emergency.
Non-medical care, supervision and socialization provided to a person age 18 or older.
Services ranging from light household cleaning to household cleaning with incidental assistance with home management and/or activities of daily living.
Overnight assistance and monitoring provided by an awake staff in the person’s own home.
Non-medical care, supervision and assistance provided in the home of the person or in the community to achieve increased independence, productivity and inclusion in the community. Respite: Short-term care services provided due to the absence or need for relief of the family member(s) or primary caregiver normally providing the care.
