As of September 1, 2024, the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) requires all caregivers to use an Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system to document in-home and community-based services. This ensures accurate service documentation and compliance with DHS Regulations.

To meet this requirement, Midway Home Health Care uses the Caretap EVV App, which is compatible with smartphones and tablets.

Through the Caretap EVV system, caregivers can:

  • Record time entries in real-time

  • Document services provided

  • Ensure compliance with Minnesota DHS EVV requirements

  • Submit verified electronic timesheets

Caregivers must download the Caretap app to record real-time entries, view time log information, and submit timesheets from their mobile devices.

Our administrative team is available to assist with Caretap access, registration, and any timesheet questions or technical support.
